Dear Anca,
Thank you so much for your kind message and solidarity. Your support is much appreciated. It is not hard for me to fight as I believe 100% in my husband's innocence and have no faith in the Canadian Gov. They have shown it too many times. We pray and hope that justice will prevail and that this nightmare (torture for sure !) will end soon. Thanks again.

Hi,
It's very painful for me to imagine what you had to go thru. I often fear that something like this could happen to us,me and my husband, and I dont know if I would have the strenght to hold it together. You are so strong and you are so brave. I too wish to see these security certificates abolished. They are ridiculous way of pretending to protect canadians. Its rather an abuse of power on my view on the part of the Government of Canada. Unconstitutional in every way and psychological torture with a fancy name. Hold on strong, you are not alone.

This coming Monday, January 18th at 10:00am is the start of an important court hearing for Mohamed Harkat. It is the public portion of the reasonability hearing for his 2nd security certificate.
The legal battle over Moe's first security certificate went all the way to the Supreme Court. And he won that battle. The Supremes said that his security certificate is unconstitutional.
In a democratic country that would have been the end of it. But not in Canada, where Stephen Harper's Conservative gov't drew up a new security certificate against Harkat - a second kick at the can - and the process started all over again.
In recent months some Federal Court judges have chosen to finally quash two other security certificates and free two men: Montrealer Adil Charkaoui and Hassan Almrei of Toronto. We really hope that Mohamed Harkat will be the third man to be freed.
If you live in Ottawa, please come to court on Monday. stay for an hour if you can. Show your support for Moe and for Sophie and see to it that this long and drawn out miscarriage of justice is stopped once and for all.
Abolish secret trials in Canada! End deportation to torture based on secret evidence! Justice for Mohamed Harkat!

Good luck to Mohamed and Sophie in regards to this week's bail conditions hearing.
The sec. certificate case against Moe should have been thrown out years ago. And each time he has a bail hearing i expect the judge to say "Enough is enough. This case is dismissed."
Will it happen this week?
